This role requires an active NY license and experience in a diverse set of respiratory therapy practices. Key Responsibilities of the Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

• Provide care in adult critical care and emergency department settings
• Assist with extubation and intubation procedures
• Perform nasal and oral airway placement and suctioning
• Collect sputum specimens
• Manage tracheostomy care
• Utilize respiratory equipment such as High Flow Nasal Cannula, BiPAP, and CPAP
• Troubleshoot high-pressure alarms and assist in weaning from mechanical ventilation

Requirements of the Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

• BLS certification
• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) certification
• At least 2 years of recent experience or 3 years for first-time travelers
• Active NY license at submission
