Job Description Los Angeles office of a national law firm is seeking a real estate lawyer with at least four years of experience to support a thriving national multi-faceted real estate finance practice. The ideal candidate will have sophisticated real estate transactional experience (primarily financing, sales and acquisitions). Candidate will currently work in a major law firm, representing banks, insurance companies, private equity funds, and other institutional clients. Qualified candidates will have distinguished academic credentials. Qualifications Duties: Negotiate and draft transaction documents (letters of intent, purchase agreements, leases, loan agreements etc.) Perform due diligence (including title and survey, land use permitting and contracts), including coordination of due diligence review by associates and paralegals Conduct closings,including document preparation, signing, coordination of closing/post-closing activities Adhere to a standard of ethics and maintain confidentiality of the firm and its clients Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision Excellent organizational skills Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to work effectively under pressure and with people at all levels, both inside and outside the Firm Excellent analytical skills Excellent oral and written communication skills Demonstrated ability to use PC-based and on-line technology relevant to the job #J-18808-Ljbffr Lewis & Associates
