About the Role
The Company is seeking a Dean for its School of Health Professions. The successful candidate will be a nationally recognized scholar with a strong academic and professional background, capable of leading the school in its mission to provide excellence in education, research, and clinical service. The Dean will be responsible for overseeing the school's diverse program offerings, including undergraduate, master's, and doctoral programs in various health disciplines. This role requires a leader who can foster programmatic growth through innovation and collaboration, and who is eager to engage in a system context that promotes interprofessional education, training, and research. Candidates for the Dean position must hold a Doctoral degree or equivalent terminal degree in a relevant field and have a proven track record of success in leading an academic, clinical, and research enterprise. The ideal candidate will be part of a system that is dedicated to educating health professionals, researchers, and scientists, and providing leading-edge patient care and community service. The Dean will be expected to be an integral leader in the organization, with a focus on improving health both locally and globally. The School of Health Professions is a critical component of the company's health science center, with a large student enrollment and a strong emphasis on interprofessional education and community-engaged learning.
