Part-Time Leasing Specialist

Overview

We are seeking a motivated, customer-focused Part-Time Leasing Specialist to support the leasing and marketing operations at our residential community. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, has strong communication and sales skills, and can create a welcoming experience for prospective residents.

The Leasing Specialist will help generate leasing traffic, respond to inquiries, conduct property tours, follow up with prospects, and assist the property management team in achieving occupancy goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond promptly and professionally to leasing inquiries by phone, email, and in person.
• Conduct property tours and showcase apartment homes, amenities, and community features.
• Provide accurate information regarding pricing, availability, specials, and lease terms.
• Follow up with prospects through guest cards, CRM systems, phone calls, texts, and emails to maximize leasing opportunities.
• Assist with community marketing, social media, resident events, and local outreach initiatives.
• Assist prospective residents with the application and leasing process.
• Maintain accurate prospect records, guest cards, and leasing documentation.
• Assist with move-in coordination and provide a welcoming experience for new residents.
• Provide excellent customer service to current and prospective residents.
• Support the property management team with leasing-related administrative tasks and special projects as needed.
• Ensure all leasing activities are conducted in accordance with company policies and Fair Housing requirements.

Skills & Qualifications

• Previous leasing, sales, hospitality, customer service, or property management experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Friendly, professional, and customer-focused approach.
• Strong sales and follow-up skills with the ability to convert prospects into residents.
• Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Comfortable using property management and leasing software such as Yardi, RealPage, or similar platforms.
• Familiarity with social media marketing and online leasing platforms is a plus.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations required.
• Ability to work independently while also collaborating with the property management team.

Schedule & Working Conditions

• Part-time position
• Flexible schedule based on leasing traffic and community needs.
• Weekend availability, particularly Saturdays , may be required.
• Primarily office-based with frequent movement throughout the community to conduct tours and assist prospects.
• Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced residential property environment.
