What You Will Do

• Conduct assessments in inpatient and outpatient contexts, developing personalized treatment plans tailored to patient needs
• Implement physical therapy techniques emphasizing mobility, strength, balance, and overall function
• Work collaboratively with nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation experts to maximize patient outcomes
• Inform patients and their families about therapeutic objectives, discharge plans, and at-home exercises
• Maintain accurate records of evaluations, therapies, and progress in compliance with facility policies and standards
• Engage in interdisciplinary team rounds and conferences to ensure seamless, coordinated patient care

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or a related degree from an accredited program

Licenses and Certifications

• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist
• CPR certification is preferred
• Special certifications (neurological, geriatric, etc.) are advantageous but not mandatory

Essential Skills

• Previous experience is highly recommended
