Line Cook

Job Title

Staten Island FerryHawks Stadium is seeking a skilled and reliable Line Cook to support food service operations at one of Staten Island's premier sports and entertainment venues, located along the scenic waterfront.

Essential Functions

• Cook menu items according to standardized recipes and portion guidelines
• Prepare, season, and cook food in a fast-paced environment
• Ensure all food is stored, handled, and cooked safely following health regulations
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of cooking and prep stations
• Monitor inventory and communicate shortages or needs to supervisors
• Assist with setup and breakdown of cooking stations before and after events
• Work closely with kitchen staff and runners to ensure timely service to concession stands
• Follow all sanitation, safety, and stadium operational procedures
• Assist in training and mentoring less experienced kitchen staff as needed
• Collaborate with team members to maintain efficiency during high-volume periods
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation regulations
• Follow all safety, sanitation, and stadium procedures
• Practice safe work habits and complete company and venue safety and general position compliance training
• Maintain a pleasant and collaborative attitude towards customers, co-workers, and management
• Adheres to the Legends Global and venue company policies
• Complete other duties assigned by management
• Available to work none-traditional hours (Nights, Weekends & Holidays)

Compensation

Competitive hourly rate of $20.15 per hour, commensurate with experience, and a generous benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, paid vacation, and 401k plan.
