We provide timely and efficient support while building long-lasting relationships. We integrate security systems for businesses as a one-stop source in the low voltage sector. We thrive in new construction buildings, as well as manufacturing, distribution, office and warehouse spaces, and other commercial property buildings. Role and responsibilities:

• Installing low voltage security systems in primarily commercial environments, construction environments and some residential environments
• Troubleshooting and testing networking issues
• Assist with programming various systems directed by the company
• Setup support structures (i.e. ladders, racks)
• Terminating and installing end devices such as badge readers, mag locks, motion detectors, glass breaks, cameras, focusing camera lenses, etc.
• Installation and service of various Burglar Alarm systems directed by the company
• Installation and service of various CCTV systems directed by the company
• Installation and service of various Access Control Systems, including door hardware directed by the company
• Installation and service of various Audio/Visual systems directed by the company
• Pulling cables, wires, and other necessary preparation work to complete jobs
• Adaptable and trainable on various security systems, manufacturer specs, etc.
• Document job notes according to the company's Work Order policy, meeting or exceeding expectations and standards
• Honest and thorough documentation of all paperwork is a requirement while maintaining company confidentiality policies and standards
• Maintain positive attendance in accordance with jobs that are scheduled to be completed
• Provide friendly, knowledgeable and respectful customer service
• General knowledge of electronics, components and devices
• Comply and follow all Safety Standards, Laws, and Regulations at all times
• Takes initiative by communicating with Operations Department and Management
• Memorize and commit to the company mission, values and vision
• Ability to work the on-call rotation
• Ability to work in various temperatures and working conditions
• Other assigned duties

Skills/Qualifications/Work conditions:

• 2-5 years experience in security, Access Control and CCTV installation and troubleshooting preferred. Commercial project experience is preferred.
• Must be able to pass a background and driver's license (MVR) check
• Must obtain and keep current Arizona Alarm Agent License and any required Licenses required by law. (Willing to apply within first 30 days of employment if do not currently hold an Arizona Alarm Agent License).
• Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently
• Professional in appearance and presentation, abiding all Personal Protective Equipment standards and Company's Uniform Policy
• Ability to be an effective team member through strong productivity skills while assisting team members
• May be required to work overtime without advance notice and must be able to work a flexible schedule
• Good organizational skills
• Maintain Company property in good working order while taking precautions to ensure safety and security of the property
• Frequent sitting, standing and walking, which may be required for long periods of time, and may involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain
• Occasional reaching with hands and arms, stooping, kneeling, crouching and crawling
• Frequent lifting and/or carry up to 65 pounds and push up to 100 pounds
• Will be exposed to inclement weather or be required to work in environments or under conditions that require the use of protective equipment and devices and/or awareness of personal safety and safety of others
• Must be able to maintain visual acuity and alertness for long periods of time including long periods of driving a motor vehicle
• Provide your own basic hand tools per the Company standards
• Follow all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements per assigned job location. Safety is the #1 priority!

Preferred skills: Self-motivated and represents a professional image that is approachable. Outgoing. Willing to learn and grow with the company. Certifications with Manufacturers in the security industry is a plus. OSHA 10 Certification a plus

Work hours: Full time position, hours vary depending on the scheduled work. Generally, Monday through Friday, some weekends may be required but not typical, no restrictions and flexibility to be scheduled to work.

Pay, benefits & perks: Hourly position and rate are based on experience. Experienced level starting at $29.00 per hour – position maxes out at $38.00 per hour with qualified, high-level skills. Bi-weekly, direct deposit every other Friday. Health insurance, Dental, Life & AD&D, Voluntary Accidental Insurance with Employer Contributions. Matching 401k plan – 100% match up to 4% to eligible full-time employees. 125 Health plan - adds more to your pocketbook. 40 hours paid vacation after one year of continuous employment. 80 hours paid vacation after three years of continuous employment. Six Paid Holidays (New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day) Arizona Sick Pay benefits (accrue 40 hours max of sick pay within 12-month period) Company parties throughout the year and team building events. Location: Shop is in Peoria with quick access to the 101, but ability to travel every day throughout the major Phoenix metropolitan area, with occasional traveling within other parts of Arizona and possibly out of state. We have active jobs all over the valley (North, West, South, East). Not scheduled in the shop every day but typically once a week for meetings and other tasks.
