About This Role:

The Senior Front Desk/ Patient Access Representative plays a critical role in supporting prospective and current patients at Evara Health. This position ensures a smooth and timely registration process, provides exceptional customer service, collects payments, and coordinates appointments to enhance the patient experience. Additionally, the Senior Front Desk/ Patient Access Representative assists community members in applying for various benefits and facilitates eligibility and enrollment in coverage through the Health Insurance Marketplace. The Senior Patient Access Representative also mentors and trains new Patient Access Representatives, ensuring team proficiency and cohesion.

What You'll Do:

• Patient Access & Financial Counseling
  • Manage complex patient registration, insurance verification, financial documentation, and counseling needs with accuracy and independence.
  • Serve as a senior resource for billing, insurance, payment plans, and complex financial situations.
• Patient Experience & Issue Resolution
  • Welcome patients using the AIDET model and provide exceptional service throughout the registration and financial counseling process.
  • Resolve escalated billing, insurance, and payment concerns by coordinating with patients, providers, and insurance companies.
• Team Support & Leadership
  • Train and mentor Patient Access Representatives while sharing best practices and supporting team development.
  • Assist with department scheduling, team meetings, and operational improvements.
• Quality, Compliance & Operations
  • Monitor registration, insurance, and financial processes for accuracy, efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
  • Manage a high volume of patient accounts while ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to Evara Health protocols.
• Continuous Improvement & Professional Development
  • Analyze financial and patient access trends and recommend strategies to improve counseling services and patient satisfaction.
  • Participate in required trainings, certifications, and initiatives to improve department operations and service quality.

• High School Diploma, or equivalent
• Minimum (1) year of experience as Front Office in a healthcare setting
