Sr Inventory Management Specialist

Senior Inventory Management Specialist position at Thermo Fisher Scientific supporting Unity Lab Services. Uses mobile scanning technology and RF equipment to manage inventory, process orders, and maintain accurate stock records at customer sites. Requires 2–3 years of warehouse or inventory experience and ability to work independently in regulated environments with hazardous materials.

Responsibilities

• Perform replenishments, stock rotation, cycle counts, order entry, and backorder processing using RF scanners and mobile apps
• Receive, inspect, scan, and store shipments while maintaining accurate inventory records
• Handle customer interactions via email and phone to resolve questions and build relationships
• Monitor stock levels, flag gaps or issues, and collaborate on workflow improvements
• Uphold safety and organization standards by following site guidelines and wearing required PPE

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2–3 years customer-facing, retail stocking, warehouse, or inventory control experience
• Proficiency with RF handheld scanners, mobile scanning apps, and Microsoft Office
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills, primary use of email
• Detail-oriented, accountable, and collaborative team player
• Ability to lift 30–40 lbs regularly, up to 50 lbs occasionally
