Process Engineer I

Process Engineer I role at a medical device manufacturer focused on manufacturing engineering and process optimization. The position involves cross-functional collaboration on process improvements, validations, and lifecycle management while supporting manufacturing operations at a New Jersey facility.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate cross-functionally on process challenges, material changes, and lifecycle management across multiple departments
• Execute engineering studies, validations (IQ/OQ/PQ/TMV), and manage Engineering Change Requests for equipment and processes
• Conduct statistical analysis and trending of process parameters to improve yields and reduce scrap
• Perform technical investigations, non-conformances, FMEA, and CAPA activities
• Develop and deliver hands-on training programs for products, processes, and equipment

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent qualification
• 0-2 years of relevant experience
• Statistical process control tools experience (SPC, Minitab preferred)
• Lean Six Sigma knowledge desired
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Microsoft Office proficiency
• Project management and process improvement experience desired

Compensation: $62,100-$85,100 base
