Resident Aide

Langdon Hall of Bradenton - Job Summary: The Resident Assistant provides daily care and support to residents, assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) and ensuring a safe, comfortable environment. This role reports to the nursing supervisor and works closely with healthcare staff. Key Responsibilities: Assist residents with ADLs, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility. Provide companionship and emotional support. Serve meals and assist with feeding as needed. Help residents with toileting and incontinence care. Monitor and report changes in resident conditions to nursing staff. Follow infection control, safety, and facility policies. Assist with housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean living environment. Support residents in social and recreational activities. Maintain confidentiality and respect residents' rights. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. CNA or PCA certification (preferred or as required by state regulations). CPR and First Aid certification (preferred). Compassionate, patient, and team-oriented attitude. #J-18808-Ljbffr
