Powell Supportive Services, Inc. is a licensed private home care agency licensed by the State of Florida. We service the DD Waiver, ADA Waiver, Cystic Fibrosis Waiver, TBI Waiverand PAC Waiver. The office is open five days a week and we provide on call service 24/7. Our staff includes experienced Personal Care Aides, Home Health Aides, Massage Therapists, Registered Nurses and Licensed Practical Nurses. We assist the elderly and adults with various disabilities to remain in their homes and Assisted Living Facilities. Job Description Assisted living is a type of residence for seniors who need help in managing certain basic daily living activities such as cooking meals, bathing or dressing themselves, or doing laundry. Assisted living is for people who need some specific services or a basic level of supervised care but are otherwise free of serious mobility, mental or healthcare issues. Qualifications Must be 18 years of age. Must be able to pass a Background Sceening, Level II Must have First Aid / CPR Certificate HIV / AIDS Training HIPAA Training Additional Information Sympathetic attitude toward care of disabled or sick Demonstrated ability to read, write, and carry out directions Evidence of maturity and ability to deal effectively with job demands Good verbal and written communications skills Shall have a criminal history check conducted prior to being offered any position withinthis agency. #J-18808-Ljbffr Powell Supportive Services
