Overview

As a FACS Behavior Interventionist, you'll provide direct school-based services by following each student's individualized assessment and intervention plan. You'll collect data, implement behavior supports, communicate with your team, and help students participate safely and successfully in daily routines.

What You Have

• High school diploma

• Experience working with students and challenging behaviors preferred

• Crisis intervention experience preferred

• Ability to complete Live Scan requirements

• Ability to complete TB testing

• Ability to meet the physical and safety requirements of the role

What You'll Be Doing

• Provide direct behavior intervention services in a school setting

• Collect and document behavior data accurately

• Use de-escalation, pre-crisis, crisis, and post-crisis interventions as trained

• Implement reinforcement and cognitive restructuring strategies

• Attend training, supervision, and mentor meetings

• Support daily fitness, hygiene, and toileting routines when required by student needs
