We are currently hiring for the 2026-2027 school year, starting July 2025.
About Mathnasium:
At Mathnasium, we are passionate about helping students from K- 8th unlock their potential and excel in math. We provide a fun and supportive learning environment where students are guided to develop math skills, build confidence, and achieve academic success.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Lead Instructor to join our Mathnasium team. As a Lead Instructor, you will play a key role in providing exceptional math instruction and leadership within our learning center. You will support students by delivering individualized learning plans, mentoring other instructors, and ensuring a positive and productive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality math instruction to students using the Mathnasium Method
- Work with students of all ages and skill levels, from kindergarten to middle school
- Assist in creating and managing personalized learning plans for students
- Mentor, train, and support a team of instructors, providing guidance and feedback
- Monitor student progress and communicate updates to parents and guardians
- Maintain a welcoming and supportive learning environment
- Collaborate with the Center Director to ensure smooth daily operations
Qualifications:
- Strong math skills through at least Algebra I
- Prior experience in teaching or tutoring math is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with students of varying ages and abilities
- A passion for education and helping students succeed in math
- Leadership experience is a plus
- Ability to speak Mandarin is preferred, but not required.
Schedule:
Qualified applicants must be available to work a minimum of 5 days (20 hours per week) preferably Monday - Friday.
Mathnasium Fall Center Hours:
Monday - Friday: 2:00 PM - 7:00 PM
Saturday: 9:30 AM - 2:00 PM
