Print Production Operator (Night Shift)

Exciting opportunity for a Print Production Operator to work the night shift operating advanced printing presses and ensuring high-quality output.

The Print Production Operator will operate and manually set up multi-color sheet fed or high speed continuous/web presses during the night shift. This role requires attention to detail in press setup, ink management, and equipment maintenance to deliver products that meet customer standards.

• LOCATION: Townsend, MA 01469
• POSITION: Contract
• SCHEDULE: 3 rd Shift – 11:00pm to 7:00am / Sunday – Thursday (Training is on 1st shift)
• PAY RATE: $22.00 hour

Responsibilities

• Perform a complete effective set-up of press including identifying and loading correct stock, setting correct paper path and stretch, bending and mounting plates, mixing PMS ink, die registration, making appropriate adjustments to the ink and water balance, assuring accurate multi-color register and setting up any attribute functions, e.g. perforations, number, file holes.
• Determine and understand all order instructions and running of press, meeting job requirements of ink density, ink and water balance, color matching, size and construction, and required attributes at a quality level that meets or exceeds our customer’s expectations.
• Perform daily, weekly and monthly preventative maintenance to ensure a quality product to customer as required. Understand all press controls and demonstrate their use.
• Maintain the ability to troubleshoot mechanical breakdowns; demonstrate the ability to make adjustments to the equipment including blanket changes, washing up units, cleaning water system and roller settings as required.

Required Qualifications

• 18 years old and eligible to work in the USA
• HS Diploma or GED
• 3 years of Manufacturing/Printing experience
• Familiar with printing process and ink usage
• Basic computer skills

Work Environment

• 3rd Shift – 11:00pm to 7:00am, Sunday – Thursday
• Training on 1st shift
