Villanova University – Undergraduate Admission Seasonal Reader – Villanova, PA – Temp/Intern – 20–25 hrs per week – Remote Position Summary Responsible for independently reviewing assigned first‑year application components during the peak reading season (mid‑late October to early March). Readers evaluate credentials, maintain confidentiality, meet minimum hourly/file quotas, attend required training, and participate in weekly check‑ins with the Office of Undergraduate Admission (OUA) leader. Duties & Responsibilities Review up to 125 first‑year applications per week (peak season) while maintaining weekly quotas. Attend mandatory training sessions (3–5 hours in October). Participate in regular weekly check‑ins with the OUA leader. Maintain high accuracy and confidentiality of the information presented. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree. Own a personal computer within the past five years with stable and secure high‑speed internet. Strong, self‑motivated reader with keen attention to detail and ability to work independently. Successful completion of background checks. Not currently employed by a high school, another undergraduate institution’s admissions office, or be a parent/guardian of a Villanova high‑school senior applicant. Preferred Qualifications Experience in a selective, holistic admission office, teaching, professorial or school counselor role. Experience volunteering or working with community‑based organizations. Familiarity with enrollment management software such as Slate. Compensation Paid $22 per hour. Training compensation at $20 per hour.
