Data Center Associate - Kitting (A-Shift M-F 6am - 2:30pm)

Job Summary Data Center Associate - Kitting (A-Shift M-F 6am - 2:30pm) – Full Time. Location: Lockbourne, USA, 225 Rathmell Rd. Division: Solutions. Responsible for providing and maintaining effective material orders, customer service, inventory management, and various customer material movement requests. The role also includes assembly and installation of servers and electronic components using a variety of hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices. Responsibilities Load and unload inbound and outbound freight to and from vehicles and containers. Perform quality checks on freight, verifying accurate part numbers, quantities, and condition. Execute daily inventory cycle counts and place replenishment orders for critical spare parts on site. Process return shipments of electronic components using multiple warehouse management systems. Place server racks on the datacenter floor using laser measuring devices with 100% accuracy. Populate electronic components and install cabling into server racks following diagrams and schematics. Install rack hardware using various hand, power, and measuring tools. Operate material handling equipment such as straddle stackers, rack movers, and electric pallet jacks. Perform cleanup activities in the work area to ensure safety, cleanliness, and adherence to 5S standards. Push, pull, and lift frequently throughout the workday. Ability to be flexible and cross‑train in multiple department areas within the datacenter. Qualifications Good interpersonal and customer service skills are required, with the ability to forge positive working relationships with various stakeholder groups. Critical thinking and analytical skills are needed for confident decision making based on data. Experience with computers, knowledge of electrical safety and static discharge protocols, and 1–3 years of related experience are required. The position demands working with live electrical equipment and components. The individual must be capable of performing all essential functions with or without a reasonable accommodation.
