Transdev is seeking an experienced Fleet Coordinator in Pittsburgh, PA to bolster our team. As a Fleet Coordinator, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the safety, efficiency, and longevity of our customers' assets.

Transdev is proud to offer:

• Competitive compensation package of minimum $20.00 - Maximum $21.00/ hr

Benefits include:

• Vacation: minimum of two (2) weeks

Key Responsibilities:

• Organize and manage the maintenance and repair of the fleet to ensure vehicles are operational and safe

• Monitor and track vehicle usage, including fuel consumption, mileage, and location

• Ensure fleet operations comply with local and federal regulations and company policies

• Manage vehicle registrations, inspections, repairs, and maintenance schedules

• Coordinate driver schedules and assignments to maximize efficiency

• Maintain accurate records of vehicle inventory, maintenance, and repair logs

• Identify and implement cost-saving measures related to fleet management

• Develop and implement fleet policies and procedures

• Address and resolve any issues or complaints regarding the vehicles.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Proven work experience as a Fleet Coordinator or similar role

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

• Knowledge of fleet management and transportation laws

• Good understanding of safety regulations and servicing

• Ability to work well under pressure

• Excellent communication and management skills

• Proficient with fleet management software

• Subject to a DOT physical exam and DOT drug testing. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including marijuana, for any reason.

Physical Requirements:

The essential functions of this position require the ability to:

• Sit for extended periods (up to 6-8 hours per day); frequently walk for long distances and on possible sloped ground or slippery and uneven surfaces

• Withstand heavy traffic areas while performing the duties of the job; tolerate exposure to considerable amounts of dust, vehicle fumes and noise.
