[Required]Must be able to operate all ultrasound systems in the assigned department and utilize the measurement package for measuring and calculating to determine anatomy, function, and status according to standard of care. [Required]Must be able to recognize significant anatomical structures, artifacts, pathology. [Required]Ability to effectively communicate and explain procedures to patients in a clear and concise manner. [Required]Basic EKG Knowledge. [Required]Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office. [Required]Ability to maintain a clean, safe, and orderly department, including procedure rooms, storage areas, dressing rooms, film storage area, and other departmental regions. [Required]Up-to-date knowledge to appropriately interpret image data and consequently determine which images to save and which to discard. [Required]Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in the healthcare industry. [Required]Must be able to read, write and speak conversational English. [Required]Must be able to perform basic mathematic skills. [Required]Must be able to function independently with little or no supervision. [Required]Must have the knowledge and skills necessary to address age-appropriate considerations relating to the communication and safety needs of the patient populations served within the department. [Required]Proficiency in pediatric echocardiography [Preferred]Proficiency in transesophageal echocardiography [Preferred]Knowledge of principles and practices of echocardiography.
