Job Description
PACU/Pre Op/Phase 2 Registered Nurse (RN) Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled PACU/Pre Op/Phase 2 Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills in perianesthesia care and be committed to providing exceptional patient care. Key Responsibilities
- Administer nursing care to patients in the post-anesthesia care unit (PACU) and pre-operative settings.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and manage pain levels post-surgery.
- Evaluate patients' recovery progress and provide education and support to patients and families.
- Collaborate with medical staff and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective patient care.
- Float between main hospital and day surgery settings as needed to meet unit demands.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in PACU or similar nursing environment required.
- Certification in ACLS, BLS, and PALS is required.
- Experience with Epic charting systems is mandatory.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends as needed.
- Parking is available with costs varying based on the chosen lot.
- Pending licenses may be accepted.
- Please limit requests for time off to no more than 5 days.
