Lockheed Martin values your skills,training, education, and background!The WorkWe are looking for a talented and motivatedLead Software Engineer to join our growingintegrated team working on state of the artradar systems and electronic warfare technology.As a Software Engineer Lead, you will have theopportunity to work on exciting projects,collaborate with a talented group ofindividuals, and contribute to the development ofinnovative solutions.In this role you will:• Collaborate with other engineering disciplinesand program personnel.• Participate in cross-functional Six Sigma-styleproduct or process improvement meetings.• Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies andtools.• Be flexible, motivated, dedicated, detail-focused, team-oriented, and capable of multi-tasking.• Participate in all phases of the developmentlifecycle, including design, coding, and testing.• Use RMS engineering processes andprocedures while performing your respectivesoftware engineering and verification activities.• Collaborate with teammates across physicalsites and lead junior engineers.• This position requires a government securityclearance. As a part ofour team, you will work alongside like-mindedindividuals dedicated to pushing the boundariesof what's possible.Basic Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree program from an accreditedcollege in a Computer Science, ComputerEngineering or related discipline with softwaredevelopment experience with minimum of 9years experience• C++ Software development skills• Experience in debugging, unit testing, andintegration testing• Experience leading a software development team• Experience with formal testing, verification,and validation• Experience mentoring software engineers in ateam setting• Professional experience with Agile Principles,CI/CD Methodologies' and Agile configurationManagement tools (Git, JIRA, Confluence)• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. DoDsecurity clearance at the SECRET level. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per weekThe base range for this position in New Jersey is $110,500 - 208,344.
