Breakfast Line Cook

We are looking for a passionate and dependable Breakfast Line Cook to join our Culinary team. This individual should enjoy working in a fast-paced kitchen environment and take pride in preparing fresh, consistent, and high-quality food for our guests.

Successful candidates will have previous experience working in a professional kitchen environment, preferably with breakfast or high-volume service. The ideal candidate will be motivated, organized, and able to work efficiently while maintaining our standards for quality, presentation, and food safety.

The Breakfast Line Cook is primarily responsible for the preparation and execution of our daily breakfast service. This role will also support the Culinary team with additional kitchen needs, including prep work, banquet preparation, employee meals, and other food production as needed.

Your Role:

• Prepare and cook breakfast menu items according to established recipes, portioning, and presentation standards
• Set up and maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked workstation for breakfast service
• Complete daily prep work to ensure the kitchen is prepared for service
• Work efficiently during service while maintaining consistency, quality, and presentation
• Safely and properly use knives, cooking equipment, and other kitchen tools
• Assist with food preparation for banquets, events, and other outlets as needed
• Assist with the preparation and production of employee meals as needed
• Support the Culinary team with additional prep and food production based on business needs
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
• Ensure food and ingredients are properly labeled, dated, rotated, and stored
• Monitor the quality and freshness of ingredients and finished products
• Minimize food waste through proper preparation, portioning, storage, and cross-utilization
• Maintain a clean and sanitized kitchen and workstation throughout the shift
• Communicate and work closely with culinary leadership and other team members to ensure a smooth and successful service

What are we looking for?

• 1-3 years previous experience working in a professional kitchen environment
• Active Food handler's certification or the ability to get it
• Must be willing to work a variety of day/night and weekend shifts
• Requires strong organizational skills
• Must be able to work independently
• Able to be on your feet for long periods of time
• Able to lift at least 50 pounds
• Have a desire to exceed expectations
• An energetic personality
