Registered Nurse - Operating Room

Operating Room Rn Opportunity

Seeking an experienced OR RN to provide specialized surgical nursing care in a busy level-one trauma center. The candidate will support various surgical specialties, ensuring patient safety and procedural efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Administer perioperative nursing care before, during, and after surgical procedures.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to assist with scrubbing and circulating during surgeries.
• Maintain sterile techniques and ensure all equipment is properly prepared and functioning.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes in patient condition promptly.
• Document all patient care activities accurately in electronic health records.
• Adhere to hospital protocols, safety standards, and regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact RN license.
• Possess a minimum of 2 years of OR experience, scrub experience preferred.
• Maintain BLS certification; Radiation Badge required.
• Demonstrate ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume surgical environment.
• Be willing to float within scope to support various units as needed.
• Prior experience with Level 1 trauma surgeries highly preferred.
