These capabilities guide how all employees contribute to our shared success across Mission Technologies.Job Description HII Mission Technologies is seeking a Field Engineer to drive precise, reliable execution of field installations and system testing, applying strong engineering judgment and hands‑on expertise to support mission‑focused solutions.Essential Job Responsibilities Execute, track, and document platform integration activities, providing technical leadership for installation efforts and ensuring compliance with engineering, safety, and security standards. Design, analyze, and troubleshoot electrical and electronic circuits, wiring schematics, and complex interconnect systems; fabricate harnesses and wiring assemblies as required. Conduct hands on installation, integration, and testing of systems, applying engineering principles to adapt standard procedures, resolve technical issues, and ensure system functionality. Utilize a broad range of test equipment—including multimeters, oscilloscopes, power systems, and data acquisition systems—to test, measure, and diagnose digital, analog, and RF signal waveforms. Draft, review, and maintain technical procedures, engineering documentation, and test plans; assist in developing test procedures and supporting engineering change activities. Minimum Qualifications LEVEL 2 - 2 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 0 years experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 6 years relevant experience. LEVEL 3 - 5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 0 years experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience. Ability to read, interpret and understand installation work packets, drawings, and schematics. Experience working with test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and power systems. Clearance: Active Secret Clearance. Physical Requirements Job performance requires adequate visual acuity and manual dexterity for meeting the requirements of the job.
