We are looking for a Data Entry Clerk to support a contract assignment in Irvine, California. This role focuses on retrieving digital HR records, moving them securely to an internal server, and keeping file documentation accurate and organized. The ideal candidate is comfortable working within software platforms, handling sensitive information with discretion, and following established procedures with a high level of accuracy.

Responsibilities:
• Retrieve assigned records and documents from the designated HR information system using established access procedures.
• Move electronic files securely to the company’s internal server while adhering to data-handling standards.
• Arrange digital records using approved naming conventions and filing methods to support easy tracking and retrieval.
• Confirm that each file has been downloaded and transferred completely, resolving gaps through careful review.
• Maintain accurate logs of completed transfers and document progress throughout the assignment.
• Escalate missing documents, inconsistencies, or technical problems to the appropriate supervisor in a timely manner.
• Handle employee and HR-related information with strict confidentiality and in accordance with security requirements.
• Work independently to complete daily tasks while communicating questions or concerns when needed.• Previous experience in data entry or administrative support involving high-volume electronic record handling.
• Strong typing skills with the ability to enter information accurately and efficiently.
• Proficiency using computer systems, file management tools, and web-based applications.
• Demonstrated attention to detail when reviewing, organizing, and validating digital documents.
• Ability to follow written procedures consistently and manage repetitive tasks with minimal supervision.
• Comfortable working with confidential employee information and maintaining strict privacy standards.
• Reliable time management skills and the ability to support a contract schedule of approximately 40 hours per week.
