Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Orthopedic Surgical Technologist to join our medical team. The ideal candidate will assist in surgical operations, ensuring the operating room environment is safe and equipment is sterile.
Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms for surgery
- Set up surgical instruments and equipment
- Assist the surgical team during procedures
- Maintain a sterile field throughout the surgery
- Pass instruments to surgeons during procedures
- Monitor and record patient vital signs
- Collect and document data for medical records
Qualifications
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist
- Knowledge of medical terminology and hospital procedures
- Familiarity with infection control systems
- Proficiency in basic life support techniques
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in data collection and recording vital signs
- Prior experience in an operating room setting is preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $38.00 - $49.00 per hour
