RN - MS Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 1 year of recent experience required License: NM/Compact license required (must be obtained prior to start) Certifications: BLS, CPI preferred Must-Have: Previous charge experience Experience with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 6:1 Familiarity with Epic charting Description:Seeking a Registered Nurse for a Medical Surgical unit.This position operates on a day shift schedule.The RN will be responsible for caring for adult and geriatric patients.The unit has 32 beds and the average daily census is 32 patients.The nurse-to-patient ratio will be 1:6.Travelers will float to similar units as needed.Candidates must have experience with blood product administration and IV management.Other required skills include wound care, PCA management, and oxygen administration.The unit supports interdisciplinary care, including physical therapy and respiratory services.Candidates must adhere to isolation precautions and have experience with feeding tube care.A minimum of 6 weekend shifts are expected within a 6-week period.This role does not require call.BCLS certification is required, and CPI certification is preferred.First-time travelers are welcomed to apply.The expected duration of the contract is 13 weeks. #J-18808-Ljbffr Cynet HealthStaff
