We are working with our client, Don Selvy Enterprises (DSE), to find their next highly skilled Senior Acquisition Specialist/Management Analyst – Missile Systems.

The Role

We are seeking a Senior Acquisition Specialist/Management Analyst to support the development of program acquisition documentation — Acquisition Plans, Acquisition Strategy Reports (ASR), Procurement Initiation Documents (PID), Statements of Work (SOW), funding documents, CDRLs, and APB agreements. You'll assess program procedures, practices, and documentation for compliance with specifications, contracts, and mission requirements, and serve as a trusted advisor across IPT Project Teams — from acquisition strategy and tailoring plans to Navy Gate review readiness.

Responsibilities

• Oversee acquisition efforts for all IPT Project Teams, including PID generation, SOWs/SOOs, CDRLs, Streamlined Acquisition Plans (STRAPs), Acquisition Strategy Briefs, Justification & Approvals (J&As), and PMT/CDRL Tool guidance
• Advise IPTLs on Acquisition Regulations, Thresholds, and PMA-280 Acquisition Processes/Procedures
• Conduct and support Procurement Planning Conferences, Acquisition Strategy Briefs, Data Requirements Review Boards (DRRB), Contract Status Meetings, and Program Management Meetings
• Maintain regular cadence of execution status reporting with DASN A/G and APEO for Acquisition
• Ensure DoD 5000.02 and SECNAV 5000.2 compliance for adaptive acquisition programs
• Support program designation requests, acquisition strategy development, and tailoring plan development
• Ensure accurate, timely, transparent reporting of official acquisition program status per Congressional Mandate, OSD, USN, PEO, and PM guidance, including Navy Gate/decision briefs, ad-hoc status briefs, yearly SAR via DAVE, and quarterly reporting via RDAIS
• Chair procurement planning conferences for process compliance and ensure acquisition plans align with program acquisition strategy
• Lead or attend procurement status reviews using PMT visualizations, focusing on higher-risk/higher-priority items
• Manage AMS PMT and AcqMat access controls, business rules, and best practices for accurate planning, data storage, and program management
• Perform data analysis to identify reportable trends, risks, and opportunities
• Maintain configuration control of acquisition documentation and manage the signed-document approval library
• Ensure compliant contractor performance information (FAR Part 42.15)
• Act in an advisory role for acquisition management

Required Education

• MA/MS degree, OR
• Bachelor's degree plus 2 years additional relevant experience, OR
• Associate's degree plus 4 years additional relevant experience, OR
• Minimum 6 years of relevant work experience in lieu of a master's degree

Required Experience

• At least 10 years of experience performing the duties described above
• Experience in a Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) Program Management Air (PMA) office
• Acquisition experience specifically tailored to Navy weapon systems within a Navy acquisition command
• Must work onsite 100% of the time at NAVAIR, Lexington Park, Maryland
• Must possess a Secret security clearance; U.S. Citizenship required due to the sensitivity of customer-related requirements
