Registered Nurse - Cardiac and Stroke Unit

This is a 13-week contract position.

Night shifts: 3x12-hour schedule from 18:45 to 07:15. Weekend work required on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our busy cardiac and stroke unit. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in telemetry, IV starts, and care for pre and post-procedure cardiac patients. This role involves managing a dynamic patient load and requires expertise in cardiac drips and telemetry monitoring.

Caring for cardiac and stroke patients, including those receiving pre/post-operative care for pacemaker implantation and cardiac catheterization.

Monitoring stable patients on telemetry, managing multiple cardiac drips.

Collaborating with the medical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Assisting with admissions and discharges, supported by a team lead.

Responding to emergencies and delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Minimum 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in an acute care setting.

Experience with telemetry and managing cardiac patients strongly preferred.

Must hold current ACLS, BCLS, and NIH certifications.

State license as a Registered Nurse (NC or Compact license acceptable).
