Litigation Associate Attorney

Job OverviewA law firm seeks a talented Litigation Associate Attorney with 3-6 years of experience to join its growing litigation team in Torrance, CA. This role is ideal for attorneys with a strong foundation in California civil litigation, particularly those experienced in defending corporate clients under the Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act. Candidates from the greater Los Angeles area are encouraged to apply. Duties Handle all phases of litigation in state and federal courts. Manage cases under the Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act and related consumer litigation matters. Draft and argue motions, including dispositive motions. Conduct written discovery, take and defend depositions, and manage e-discovery. Prepare witnesses and corporate representatives for deposition and trial. Participate in mediations, settlement conferences, and strategic case evaluations. Collaborate with attorneys across the firm's national litigation platform. Requirements J.D. from an accredited law school. Active member of the California State Bar. 3-6 years of civil litigation experience. Experience defending claims under the Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act strongly preferred. Defense-side experience representing manufacturers, automotive companies, dealerships, insurers, and other corporate clients. Deposition experience and strong motion-writing skills. Trial preparation experience required; courtroom and trial experience preferred. Excellent academic credentials, analytical skills, and written and oral advocacy abilities. Ability to manage matters independently while working effectively within a team environment. Education J.D. from an accredited law school. Certifications Active member of the California State Bar. Skills Strong analytical and advocacy skills. Proficient in managing complex litigation matters. Excellent written and oral communication abilities.
