This is a non-exempt position that reports to LSCPA's Finance Department.Duties/ResponsibilitiesResponsible for processing and reconciling invoices and maintaining accurate financial recordsProcess and reconcile vendor invoices timely and accuratelyScan, enter, and index invoices into Xtender document management systemMatch invoices to purchase orders and receiving documentsCommunicate with vendors to resolve billing issuesPrepare daily bank depositsRun and processes state interest reports monthlyOpen, date, and deliver office mail as back-up when neededPerform vendor warrant hold checks in USASCollect incoming Request to Travel documents and generate approval letters as necessary; review, analyze, and correct employee Travel Reimbursement Vouchers to comply with campus Travel PolicyComply with campus policies and procedures Other related duties, as assignedMinimum/Preferred Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: Associate's degree in a Business-related field (or 3 years of experience in accounts payable)Supplemental Information Physical Requirements: This position requires employees to remain in a stationary position most of the time; move to various locations on campus; move about inside an office to access documents, office equipment, etc.; and operate a computer or other office equipment, such as a printer or copy machine. Work Hours: Monday – Friday, 40 hours a weekLamar State College Port Arthur is an E-Verify Employer.
