Job Description: - Develops plans and specifications, performs analysis, and provides

reports on assigned tasks involving design and construction of new facilities

or operation and maintenance of existing facilities. Technically involved in

the resolution of equipment and operational problems that may include

performing field investigation or inspections, performing design work, and detailed

checking of design computations done by others, or general coordination of

specific design aspects into a project.

of job area. Uses best practices and in-depth business knowledge to solve complex

problems and improve products or services. May adapt procedures, processes and

techniques to meet the more complex requirements of position.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Provides on-the-job trainingto new staff.
• Manages multipleprojects and associated budgets, schedules and resources.
• Functions as qualityinspector or definesquality requirements on engineering designsand projects.
• Assures that all design specifications conform to the latest nationaland local codes,rules and regulations.
• Reviews and critiques proposedchanges to engineering standards, policies and guidelines.
• Review development plans for compliance with adopted engineering standards and good engineering practices.
• Conducts surveysto gather field data.
• Prepare and interpret schematics, drawings, layouts and other visualaids.
• Prepares engineering analysisfor small/routine projectsto include: preliminary design, calculation,life cycle cost and equipment selection.
• Assists upper level engineersas directed while developing specialized engineering skills.
• Supports company safetyprograms and initiatives by following all EHS and Operating procedures and adhering to establisheddesign standards.
• All otherduties as assigned.

EDUCATION / WORK EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or PE And 5 yearsrelated engineering experience (at least 3 yearsas an Engineer and a maximum of 2 years related experience which may includenon-Engineer experience such as Engineering Internship, Design, Drafting, and Engineering Tech experience. This type of experience will be countedat half rate.)

LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS

• Valid Driver's License(Required)

WORKING CONDITIONS

• May require travel.
• May be required to work non-standard work schedules.
• May be exposed to extreme conditions and inclement weather.
• May be requiredto work at heights up to and exceeding thirty(30) feet, underground and in confinedspaces.
