Business Operations Manager (Disney Entertainment Television) As a pivotal member of Disney Entertainment Television (DET), you will collaborate with Leadership, Content Programming, Scheduling, FAST programming, FAST distribution, International Territories, and Finance teams to manage and optimize key aspects of the P&L for linear entertainment networks and digital properties worldwide. You will communicate financial and programming impacts of actuals, forecasts and ad‑hoc events to leadership, build analytical models, and provide data‑backed recommendations to Programming teams on multi‑platform content strategy. Your role requires strong analytical skills, executive presence, and the ability to navigate ambiguity while overseeing multiple priorities. This position reports to the Director of Business Operations. Responsibilities Build and maintain Network P&Ls in collaboration with Strategy, Programming and Finance, focusing on Disney Channels, ABC networks and National Geographic channels. Identify financial opportunities to improve Network P&Ls through efficiencies, strategic changes and revenue growth. Lead management of Disney Channels content slates, coordinating with Finance and Programming to ensure accurate dissemination of timelines, costs, strategic changes and scheduling. Partner with Content teams to maintain and track budgets, meeting the organization’s financial goals. Support LRP and AOP forecast development and work with Finance and stakeholders to implement actions from forecasts. Provide analysis and recommendations to the acquisitions team for Investments in Networks-related acquisitions, especially Disney brands. Collaborate with Ad Sales, Research and Finance to support multi‑platform businesses, including FAST and YouTube. Work with International programming teams to identify financial efficiency opportunities, share best practices and optimize strategies. Ensure budgets are managed efficiently while meeting content needs and requirements in partnership with programming teams. Develop, maintain and communicate detailed recurring updates for senior leadership on DET Networks financial results and programming strategies. Maintain accurate Networks perspective in collaboration with financial teams, updating it as needed. Develop annual content investment plans in alignment with company goals and priorities. Assemble ad‑hoc summaries, presentations, analyses and other communications for senior leadership. Basic Qualifications 5+ years of experience in business operations, finance or strategy roles, preferably within media. Strong Excel, PowerPoint and analytical skills, preferably with experience building financial models. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with experience presenting to executives. Excellent analytical skills, able to assess large amounts of data and provide actionable recommendations. Ability to work cross‑functionally and collaborate with multiple teams across diverse functional areas. Problem‑solving and critical thinking skills with the ability to develop creative solutions in ambiguous situations. Strong sense of organization, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects and initiatives. Ability to adapt while working in a flexible, fast‑paced, ever‑changing environment. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; relevant areas preferred include Business, Economics, Finance or similar disciplines. Compensation Base pay: $121,000 - $162,200 per year (New York, NY).
