Description

American Traveler is hiring a night-shift RN for a Med/Surg Oncology/Ortho unit requiring telemetry experience and a TX or compact RN license.

Details

• Hospital-based Med/Surg Oncology/Ortho unit (2C)
• 13-week contract assignment
• Night shift, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Patient ratio of 5:1
• No call requirements
• Uses Meditech EMR
• Basic equipment including IV pumps

Requirements

• Active RN license (TX or Compact) currently in hand
• Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg experience required
• ONC certification required for RNs working in Oncology
• No gaps in work history exceeding 90 days within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Provide care primarily for post-surgical patients on a unit with no specialized procedures
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to qualify for the travel position
• Scrub color per unit policy
• First-time travelers may be considered
