Mid-Level Automotive Technician – PM Shift
12:00PM-9:00PM.

Looking for an auto technician to support a self-driving car initiative. This will be focused on general documentation, testing, troubleshooting, and general maintenance. The individual should have a general understanding of drivetrains in order to identify and investigate problems.\n

Scope:
• Solid experience tinkering with vehicles.\n
\n • Navigate databases to find repair modules and follow processes/procedures while keeping documentation on results.\n
\n • Work with OEM tooling/base car tooling, and have an understanding of how to work with it, read diagnostics, etc.\n
\n
Required:
• Auto technician experience – Automotive, robotics, aerospace, etc.\n
\n • Strong electrical experience as well as strong fabrication abilities. \n
\n • Experience working in a shop and maintaining cleanliness, managing inventory, etc.\n
\n • Comfortable working in a team environment and leading others. This is NOT a solo position.\n
\n • Solid experience with tools – Saws, screw drivers, drill, spanners, etc.\n
\n • Experience reading and following schematics, manuals, repair guides, etc.\n
\n • Strong documentation abilities - Creating repair orders stating the diagnosis, the procedures performed, the parts required, etc.\n
\n
Pluses:
• Autonomous vehicle background.\n
\n • Experience with auto mechanics, repair, and maintenance.\n
\n • Experience with sensors and calibration.\n
\n
Estimated Min Rate : $25.00\n
Estimated Max Rate : $30.00/hr+. Depends on working experience\n
