Assignment Details

Orientation: 36 hours. Patient ratios not provided.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years postpartum experience required.
• Labor & Delivery experience and IV start skills required.
• EPIC charting experience required.
• Telemetry interpretation required; must pass EKG exam prior to start.
• Certifications: BLS and IV certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide family-centered care for mother and infant.
• Manage postpartum care for vaginal and C-section deliveries.
• Conduct newborn assessments and provide breastfeeding support.
• Administer phototherapy and manage postpartum hemorrhage.
• Perform IV starts and maintenance.
• Support patients with NAS and low-birth-weight infants.

Compliance / Notes

COVID-19 vaccine not required; flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only). Urgent Ohio fingerprinting required after booking. Two professional references required, at least one must be a manager or a director. Required time off must be included in submission.
