Precision Turning Setup Specialist — Okuma LB Series

Shift: Second Shift

Role at a glance

Own end-to-end setups and production on Okuma LB3000/LB4000 CNC lathes
Translate engineering drawings into accurate tooling, offsets, and process steps
Perform precise tool changes and machine offset adjustments to hold tolerance
Validate parts against drawings with disciplined inspection
Apply advanced hand metrology: micrometers, calipers, drop indicators, height gauges, thread gauges
Protect quality through meticulous attention to detail and consistent execution
Model reliability—arrive on time, finish work responsibly, support the team

What you bring

Direct experience setting up and operating CNC turning equipment
Hands-on time with Okuma LB3000 and/or LB4000 platforms
Ability to interpret complex prints and apply them at the machine
Comfort making offsets and replacing cutting tools as needed
Proficiency in precision measurement & hand metrology practices
Strong quality mindset, dependability, punctuality
Availability for second shift
