This role works closely with Engineering, Quality, and Manufacturing teams to optimize processes, troubleshoot production issues, support new product introductions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. The Production Specialist serves as a technical resource for operators, assists with equipment setup and adjustments, monitors process performance, and helps maintain compliance with safety and quality standards.Schedule - 6:30am-6:30pm; Rotating Schedule - Sun, Mon, Thurs, Fri/Tues, Wed and SatWhat a typical day looks like:Develops, maintains and improves assembly processes within area of responsibility.Evaluates process specifications periodically to decide if the specifications accurately reflect the process requirements and reviews process steps and reduces inefficiencies.Collaborate with the Quality Engineers on process improvement, monitoring tools, root causes and corrective actions.Drives production schedules and process related problems to closure.Supports engineering and the development labs with all new product introduction and development.Assists in the compliance of safety regulations, i.e. ISO and business controls.Provides production ready documentation (MPIs) with equipment setup and programs.Leads team in making process and efficiency improvements.Handles first calls in non-maintenance down issues and provides assistance to manufacturing support with implementing changes.Monitors equipment performance and makes minor adjustments such as set-ups, calibrations and alignments.Clears minor machine difficulties and performs maintenance and repairs under supervision of technician, engineer or supervisor.Assists operators by answering questions and demonstrating operations.Spot checks product to ensure quality levels are maintained.Stays current working with manufacturing support on process and equipment changes and upgrades.Must have knowledge and experience with assembly requirements.The experience we're looking to add to our team:High School Diploma or GED required.Experience in a manufacturing or production environment.Strong knowledge of assembly processes and production operations.Ability to troubleshoot equipment and process-related issues.Experience with process improvement, quality systems, and root cause analysis.Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.What you'll receive for the great work you provide:Full range of medical, dental, and vision plansLife InsuranceShort-term and Long-term DisabilityMatching 401(k) ContributionsVacation and Paid Sick TimeTuition ReimbursementApplication Deadline:Applications for this job position will be accepted for at least five days following the job posting start date below and continuing until the end date below or until the position is filled.
