Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry (Travel Contract)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights (3x12 Hours, 19:00–07:00) | Onsite | Every other weekend required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit within a short-term acute care facility
• Maintain a patient assignment ratio of 1:5
• Float between units as needed based on staffing and patient census
• Commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• Adhere to facility dress code: solid navy blue scrub attire for licensed nursing personnel

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 1 year of Medical Surgical / Telemetry nursing experience
• At least one prior travel nursing contract (seasoned traveler required)
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify under standard travel terms
• No background hits; facility does not accept adverse background findings
• Two professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a Level II Trauma Center or similarly acute hospital environment
• Demonstrated flexibility with floating between units or sister facilities
