Ultrasound Technologist

Location: Reno, NV

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 3x12's, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday, with varied shifts and no call.

Job Description: The Ultrasound Technologist specializes in performing complex diagnostic ultrasound procedures. This position requires expertise in OBGYN and breast imaging.

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures in accordance with established protocols.
• Review images for identification, technique, and completeness.
• Provide patient care through proper execution of care standards.
• Keep current on technological advances within ultrasound imaging.
• Participate in educational sessions and contribute knowledge to students and allied health professionals.
• Assist in the accreditation and re-accreditation application process for respective modalities.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum two years of clinical experience in the respective department.
• Experience in OBGYN and breast imaging preferred.
• ARMDS certification and American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (RDMS) required.
• CPR certification upon hire; AHA BLS within 60 days of hire.
