Project Scheduler

Required Skills & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Business, or a related field preferred.

3+ years of project scheduling experience supporting capital projects.

Hands-on experience with Primavera P6.

Strong understanding of Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling principles.

Experience developing and maintaining integrated project schedules.

Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other project reporting tools.

Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience: Experience supporting utility, transmission, generation, energy, EPC, or infrastructure projects.

Knowledge of project controls, earned value management, and schedule risk analysis.

Experience working within a PMO or project controls organization.

Familiarity with Primavera Cloud, Power BI, or other project reporting platforms.

AACE PSP, PMP, or other project controls certifications.

Job Description: A major utility organization in the Richmond, VA area is seeking an experienced Project Scheduler to join an established team of seven schedulers supporting a critical line of business within the organization. This individual will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and analyzing integrated project schedules for a diverse portfolio of capital projects. The Scheduler will collaborate closely with Project Managers, Engineering, Construction, Procurement, and Operations teams to ensure schedule accuracy, forecast project performance, and proactively identify schedule risks and opportunities.

The ideal candidate will possess strong Primavera P6 experience, a solid understanding of Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling, and experience supporting large-scale utility, infrastructure, engineering, or construction projects.
