Apply today!**About the role**As an **Auxiliary Operator,** you will work in collaboration with our facility control room to operate and inspect various power plant systems safely and efficiently to ensure the operational effectiveness of Reworld’s industrial disposal process.**Position Responsibilities:*** Operate and inspect power plant systems in accordance with safety operating procedures, systems include, but are not exclusively limited to boilers, air pollution control systems, ash systems, and heavy industrial equipment* Monitor and inspect various boiler plant auxiliary equipment, including pumps, motors, fans, dampers, air compressors, valves, mixers, conveyors, turbine generators and electrical devices* Read and interpret data from meters, gauges, and industrial measuring tools to identify trends and/or potential equipment disruptions that impact facility operations* Monitor air pollution control equipment* Perform various types of material sampling, chemistry testing, and treatment of water, as required* Safely operate heavy industrial mobile equipment, such as: cranes, skid steers, loaders, and forklifts* Responsible to maintain correct levels of refuse-fuel in operations equipment, and ensure appropriate refuse mix in designated pits and areas of operations* Additional duties as assigned to ensure safe and efficient facility operations**Position Requirements & Qualifications:*** High school diploma or equivalent.* Boiler Operator experience including minor maintenance of pumps and valves* Must be able to pass respiratory fit tested* Must be able to work rotating shifts* 2 + years’ experience operating heavy industrial equipment such as Front-End Loader, skid steer, etc**Physical Demands of the Role:*** Ability to walk, stand, sit, and climb* Ability to lift/carry 50lbs* Ability to work from heights and in confined spaces* Qualify to wear a full-face respirator* Consistently work in various weather conditions**Shift:*** · 12 hour rotating shifts, days and nights.**What Reworld Offers You:*** Health Care Benefits - start 1st day of employment.* Wellness Program Incentives & Rewards* 401k - match up to 7%.* Paid Time Off (Vacation & Holiday)* Paid Parental Leave* Short-Term & Long-Term Disability Benefits* Tuition Reimbursement* Employee Referral BonusIn addition to salary, this role is eligible for benefits. The range below reflects Reworld’s reasonable estimate of base pay for this role based on primary posting location. It is expected that most qualified candidates in this location will fall within the posting range. The final salary offered for this role will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to: experience, education, geographic location, skills and competencies, travel requirements and/or union contracts (if applicable). Pay ranges are reviewed from time to time and may be modified in the future. The pay range for the primary location of this position is: $60,000.00 - $79,900.00 USD. For hourly roles, this is the annualized salary.
