MEDICAL RECEPTIONIST FULL TIME

The Spine Institute in Murray, Utah is seeking a professional and patient-focused individual to join our team in a front desk role at a busy medical practice. This is full-time Monday through Friday. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and able to communicate clearly in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Responsibilities Greet patients and visitors in a courteous and professional manner Answer incoming calls, respond to inquiries, and route messages appropriately Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments Check patients in and out while verifying and updating demographic and insurance information Collect copayments and process payments according to office procedures Maintain accurate patient records and support routine front office documentation Coordinate communication between patients, clinical staff, and external offices as needed Assist with general administrative duties to support smooth daily operations Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area Qualifications Previous experience in a medical office is preferred. Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to handle multiple tasks with accuracy and professionalism Comfort working with scheduling systems, electronic records, and standard office software Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented healthcare setting Reliable, punctual, and adaptable to changing priorities Preferred Skills Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance verification processes Experience with electronic health records or practice management systems Ability to remain calm and courteous in a busy patient care environment What We Offer A supportive and professional work environment Full time benefits eligible position including medical, dental, vision, 401k and PTO.
