Role Description The Front Desk Receptionist role is a full-time, on-site position located in Cornelius, NC. The receptionist will greet patients and visitors, manage check-in and check-out processes, and ensure a professional, friendly first impression. Day-to-day tasks include answering and directing phone calls, scheduling and confirming appointments, handling patient intake paperwork, and maintaining accurate records. The role also involves processing payments, coordinating insurance information with clinical and billing staff, and performing general clerical duties such as filing, scanning, and organizing front office materials. The Front Desk Receptionist works closely with therapists and the administrative team to support smooth clinic operations and a positive patient experience. Qualifications Strong customer service and communication skills to interact effectively with patients, visitors, and team members. Professional phone etiquette and experience handling multi-line phone systems. Knowledge of receptionist duties, including greeting patients, managing appointments, and coordinating front desk workflows. Clerical skills such as data entry, record keeping, filing, and basic office software proficiency (e.g., scheduling systems, email, word processing). Ability to maintain confidentiality, accuracy, and attention to detail in a healthcare environment. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting. Prior experience in a medical or therapy office setting is beneficial but not required.
