Support middle school students as an ASL Paraprofessional in an engaging educational setting located near Ypsilanti, MI. In this contract position beginning as soon as possible and extending through June 4, 2027, you'll play a vital role in fostering communication and empowering students to reach their potential in the classroom.

What We’re Seeking:

• Fluent in American Sign Language (ASL)
• High school diploma required; prepared to provide either a high school or college transcript if hired
• Prior experience working in a school environment
• Comfortable supporting middle school students in classroom and individual settings
• Able to work full time following the school calendar

What You'll Do:

• Facilitate clear communication between students and educational staff using ASL
• Assist teachers in implementing individualized education and behavioral plans
• Encourage student participation, independence, and social interaction
• Provide classroom and one-on-one support as directed by teaching staff
• Maintain a positive, inclusive environment for all students
