Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine, stroke, and trauma MRI studies in a 2-scanner Radiology department averaging 25–30 scans per day
• Conduct patient transport, preparation, and safety screening prior to imaging
• Start IVs as required for contrast and other procedural needs
• Operate GE MRI equipment and navigate EMR (Epic) and PACS (McKesson) for documentation and image archiving
• Perform clerical duties associated with patient intake and departmental workflow

Required Qualifications

• Active Illinois state license (or confirmation that the application process has been initiated)
• ARRT certification with MR specialty (ARRT-MR)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Minimum of 2 years of MRI experience
• Ability to start IVs
• Must pass a drug screen; facility maintains a drug-free campus policy

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience operating GE MRI equipment
• Familiarity with Epic EMR and McKesson PACS systems
