Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Radiation Therapist located in Rockford, Illinois. This position involves providing radiation therapy treatments in a busy cancer center, working independently and managing multiple tasks effectively. Candidates are required to bring their radiation therapy license on the first day of employment.
Job Details:
- Location: Rockford, IL
- Specialty: Radiation Therapist (RTT)
- Schedule: Days; 8 hours per shift; minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid radiation therapy certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA); experience in mid-large hospitals; flexible clinic hours Monday - Friday 7:00am - 5:30pm, with hours adjusted based on patient volume
- Additional Information: Work involves treatment on two linear accelerators (Varian TrueBeam and Varian EDGE) and use of ARIA record and verify, with planned upgrade to version 18.1 at the end of the month
