Project ManagerTalent Consultant Group is partnered with a civil engineering firm that is looking to add a Project Manager to their growing team in St. Petersburg, FL.Our client is a niche engineering firm that provides consulting services in water resources and civil engineering to government agencies. They assist communities in developing, prioritizing, and implementing Capital Improvement Programs that emphasize multi-objective management solutions for their watersheds and built environment.Responsibilities:• Manage the delivery of exciting projects and providing excellent client service• Lead junior engineers and design personnel on variety of assigned projects• Lead the preparation of technical reports, engineering specifications, drawings and perform calculations in support of engineering activities and planning services• Guide client organizations in review of designs, studies, and reports prepared by other consultants• Ensure that business and policy expectations are met in the areas of health and safety, quality, financial, project delivery, and risk management• Be accountable for successfully delivering projects to the satisfaction of clients and key stakeholders• Be a team builder to motivate, support, and guide staff to successfully perform their roles, improve their skills, and act as an integral member of the entire project team• Manage construction phase support services to include inspections, shop drawing reviews, responses to information requests by contractors, and other general construction administration servicesQualifications:• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related engineering discipline.• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Florida or PE with the ability to gain reciprocity• 8+ years of competency in the field of transportation, stormwater, and utilities engineering• Prior project management experience• Strong understanding of project delivery tools and metrics• A proven history leading and managing project teams to successfully meet client expectationsPreferred Qualifications:• Master's Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or related engineering• Excellent oral and written communications, self-motivated, and team-oriented• Strong organizational skills and technical problem solving• Prior Experience serving municipal clients in the Tampa Bay area.• Adept at interpersonal relationship building, conflict resolution, and participating in diverse teams
