Commercial HVAC Service Technician

Full-Time | New Haven, CT

About the Opportunity

Join a respected facilities services team supporting a large, modern medical office campus in New Haven. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Commercial HVAC Technician who takes pride in maintaining critical building systems and enjoys working in a stable, professional environment.

You'll work with a variety of commercial HVAC equipment while becoming part of a company that values technical expertise, safety, and long-term career growth.

What You'll Do

• Perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on commercial HVAC equipment.

• Troubleshoot and repair heating, cooling, and ventilation systems.

• Service boilers, air handling units (AHUs), pumps, cooling towers, heat pumps, and DX systems.

• Monitor and work with building automation and controls systems.

• Complete work orders, maintenance reports, and service documentation.

• Assist with general building maintenance projects as needed.

• Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with company standards.

Required Qualifications

• EPA Refrigerant Certification.

• Five (5)+ years of commercial HVAC service experience.

• Experience servicing boilers, AHUs, pumps, cooling towers, heat pumps, and DX systems.

• Working knowledge of building automation and controls systems.

• Ability to read blueprints and mechanical drawings.

• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in hospitals, medical office buildings, or large commercial facilities.

• Experience with preventive maintenance programs.

• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems.
