Accounting Clerk - Accounts Receivable

Accounting Clerk Location: Tampa, FL (On-Site) Job Type: Full-Time Pay: $20.00 – $23.00 per hour Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to support day-to-day accounting operations. This role is ideal for a candidate with experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger activity who thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Key Responsibilities Record and maintain accurate general and subledger entries across multiple entities Process and post customer payments (ACH, wires, and checks) Track and reconcile daily cash activity Assist with month-end close, including AR reporting and reconciliations Maintain accurate customer records and documentation Support Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes Investigate and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner Support audit requests and provide AR related reporting Qualifications Associate degree in accounting or 3+ years of accounting experience Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP or similar ERP system (required) Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel Solid understanding of accounting principles (AP, AR, GL, reconciliations) Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities Experience in multi-entity or multi-location environments preferred Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Benefits Health Insurance Dental Insurance Life Insurance Disability Insurance Tuition Reimbursement Paid Time Off Schedule Monday to Friday 8-hour shift Work Location On-site (Tampa, FL) #J-18808-Ljbffr Garyjames Inc & Affiliates
